The Tecumseh state prison remains in near lockdown about a month after a deadly riot there. Nebraska Corrections Director Scott Frakes says twin investigations continue into what sparked the riot which led to the deaths of two inmates.
Frakes says he hopes to have a review of what started the riot soon. A criminal investigation into the deaths of the two inmates continues as well. It appears fellow inmates took advantage of the chaos created by the riot and killed the two.
Frakes says progress is being made in bringing the facility back to normal.
Frakes says he expects to have a critical incident review in his hands soon.
