As teachers protest across the country demanding higher pay and better benefits, the question of the movement coming to Minnesota is on the mind of people like Denise Specht, the President of Education Minnesota. She says there are problems in the profession.
Specht says the average salary for teachers in Minnesota is below the national average and Minnesota ranks 19th for average teacher salary nationwide.
