U-S Department of Agriculture Under Secretary for International Trade and Foreign Affairs, Alexis Taylor is scheduled to visit Iowa on Friday.  Taylor will meet with several agricultural officials during a round table discussion at the Iowa State University campus at Ames.  Theresa Greenfield serves as the USDA Rural Development Director for Iowa.  She says Taylor’s focus will be to discuss various trade opportunities.  President Biden’s administration has been criticized for not focusing enough attention on agricultural trade, but Greenfield disputes the claim, saying Biden has increased agricultural export trade.  Greenfield says Under Secretary Taylor is anxious to listen to agricultural officials and take back to Washington ideas on how to advance trading opportunities.
