Tax Relief Big Issue For Nebraska

A big issue during this legislative session is tax relief and the Platte Institute for Economic Research says Nebraska needs to up its game if the state wants to attract more businesses. Platte Institute spokesman Jim Vokal says there is a reason that businesses are bypassing the state.

Vokal says income taxes in Nebraska won’t go away but there are ways to promote a responsible plan.

That position of strength meaning money in the state’s cash reserve.
