The Platte Institute for Economic Research in Nebraska did a survey and found support for raising other taxes to cut property taxes.

District 40 Senator Tyson Larson of O’Neill says he doesn’t think that will happen..

Larson says he has supported cuts to the university in order to support K through 12 schools….

Voters approved expanding Medicaid services which could cost forty to fifty million dollars. Larson says that move will hobble the legislature for the next several years…

Larson served eight years in the legislature and is term limited. Tim Gragert of Creighton won the District 40 race and will be sworn in in January.
