Tax reform, regulations and cattle market reform will be top ag policy priorities for the Nebraska Farm Bureau in 2022. President Mark McHargue says they are concerned about Build Back Better re-emerging when Congress returns from the holiday recess.
He says they are also on the defensive with EPA trying to overturn nearly every Trump era regulation, including WOTUS.
And they will also be working on cattle market reform and supporting the Grassley Fischer compromise legislation.
McHargue says they are also turning up the heat on the administration to get to work on new trade deals as the U.S. needs to play catch up.
