Initial appointments have been made to “The Blue Ribbon Task Force on Teachers and Students” by South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard. The task force was set up as a compromise with legislators during the 2015 session, and will bring back a comprehensive report to the 2016 session.

Daugaard says their mission is to come up with the facts of education and finances…

 

The task force is being co-chaired by Senator Deb Soholt of Sioux Falls, and Representative Jackie Sly of Rapid City.
