A bi-partisan task force is working on recommendations for changes to South Dakotas campaign finance reporting laws.
The group was assembled by Secretary of State Shantel Krebs, and met this week.
One of the members is Representative Julie Bartling of Gregory. She says the laws need to catch up to modern politics…
Bartling says they worked through reporting rules for many types of candidates and issues……
Bartling says they also looked at the level of donations being made….
Bartling says they will probably have some proposed legislation at the end of the process.
