Taking Another Run at the Dakota’s Promise Scholarship

The South Dakota Board of Regents is setting up a workgroup that will reshape the “Dakota’s Promise” scholarship program for next year. The version introduced this year was killed by the legislature.

University of South Dakota President Sheila Gestring is a member of the workgroup and says they will simplify the proposal….

The budget proposed for the scholarship program is five point seven million dollars.
