Rick Weiland believes that Americans are tired of partisan politics. The founder of takeitback.org is trying to do something about it as the upcoming election approaches. He has three points of emphasis this fall highlighting initiated measures on the ballot.

Weiland said Amendment T would establish a non-partisan redistricting commission.

Weiland is also focusing on Amendment V. That amendment would establish non-partisan elections for every office except that of president. It would also give Independent voters more a voice.
Weiland believes that it is time for the country to unite instead of being pulled apart by partisan politics.
