Yankton County has been working with the state Department of Agriculture on a site analysis report that could aid in the location of large livestock developments.
The fieldwork was done by staff from Planning & Development District 3 in Yankton.

Harry Redman gave the county commission a presentation Tuesday on the findings……

Redman says he looked at each individual exclusion area, to see if there were potential sites available……

Redman says they did find possible locations for AID, or Agriculturally related Industrial Developments………

Redman says those include feed mills, seed and fertilizer warehouses and other ag related businesses.
The commission took no action on the report.
