Surge In Attendance At Sturgis

A surge in attendance was expected for the 75th Anniversary Sturgis motorcycle rally, and it appears that is happening. It does seem that the crowds may fall short of the one million that were anticipated.

Governor Dennis Daugaard says the information he is getting indicates a much larger crowd than last year…

There have been no major incidents or medical situations so far. Daugaard says state and local officials have been meeting for two years to prepare for this rally…

 

The rally officially runs through Sunday.
