State Senator Charlie Janssen says the city of Fremont Nebraska has been vindicated by the United States Supreme Court.
The court declined to hear an appeal of a lower court ruling that upheld the Fremont illegal immigration ordinance.
Janssen, a city councilmember at the time the ordinance passed, was pleased with the decision. . .

Janssen says it may start to change the trend.

Janssen says Fremont has moved beyond the controversy the ordinance created after a February vote that rejected efforts to change the ordinance.
