Supreme Court Rules Against WOTUS

The U-S Supreme Court ruled against the Environmental Protection Agency on Thursday on its decision regarding the Waters of the United States.  The highest court indicated the EPA and the Biden administration had over-reached with its authority with its proposed regulations.  U-S Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa says many farmers across the nation were relieved to learn the court’s decision.

Grassley says if the supreme court had ruled in favor of the EPA, it would have meant at least 97 percent of Iowa would be subject to the EPA’s regulations.

Grassley says he hopes Congress will follow up and pass legislation so the EPA doesn’t try to implement another set of similar regulations.
