Support Grows for Repeal of Renewable Fuel Standard

The Advanced Biofuels Group has joined in opposing the current Renewable Fuel Standard, and American Petroleum Institute leaders say the addition should help in their efforts toward calling for its repeal. API’s Bob Greco says his group, the Environmental Working Group, and Action Aid USA all want the RFS repealed. Advanced Biofuels simply wants it changed.

Greco says besides the Feinstein Toomey bill in the Senate, there is also movement in the House to get rid of the RFS..

Greco says the RFS is outdated, it’s no longer working and there is broadbased support for getting rid of it.
