The NCAA has announced the participants that will compete in the 2015 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships, including three Summit League student-athletes.
Erin Teschuk (North Dakota State) qualified in both the women’s one mile and 3,000-meter runs, Mary Wirth (South Dakota State) qualified in the women’s high jump and Teivaskie Lewin (South Dakota) qualified in the men’s 60-meter hurdles.
Teschuk qualified for the one mile run with a time of 4:32.09 and the 3,000-meter run in a time of 9:02.40. Both times are top-five nationally.
Wirth qualified with a jump of 1.83 meters, which seeds her 15th in the meet.
Lewin, who just earned Summit League Track MVP of the Championships at The Summit League Championships meet last week, qualified with a time of 7.79 in the 60-meter hurdles.
The championships will be held March 13 and 14 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
ESPN3 will stream the meet live on March 13 and 14 starting at 7 p.m. ET. A tape delay of the championship will air March 23 starting at 7 p.m. ET on ESPNU.
