The Summit League announced its 2015-16 all-league men’s golf teams at the annual awards banquet Saturday evening, prior to the start of The Summit League Men’s Golf Championship in Newton, Kan.

South Dakota’s Jordan Rykal has the league’s lowest round this season as he had a 66 in both the first and second round of the Derek Dolec Invitational in the fall. A senior, his 74.52 average ranks sixth in the league this season and he has two top five finishes (1st – Derek Dolec Invitational; 3rd – Zach Johnson Invitational).

South Dakota State’s Grant Smith earns his second consecutive all-league selection after being named to the second team a year ago. The junior is fourth in the league with a 73.77 stroke average and has recorded a low round of 68 twice this season (Ram Masters Invitational, The Jackrabbit).

The second team consists of Western Illinois’ Andrew Blackburn (74.79) and Jackson Wetherbee (74.60), Fort Wayne’s Jacob Groninger (74.59), Denver’s Chris Korte (74.93) and South Dakota State’s Felipe Strobach (74.33).
