Summit League weekly awards this week include honors for a USD Coyote and a South Dakota State Jackrabbit.
South Dakota junior setter Brittany Jessen has been named the Summit League volleyball offensive player of the week for the period ended Sept. 12 as announced by the league office Monday.
Jessen collects the weekly award for the fourth time of her career and the second time this season.
For the second consecutive week, a South Dakota State women’s soccer player has been named the Summit League Defensive Player of the Week as Lindsee Larson earned the award after her performance last weekend against Green Bay.
