The most successful season for the South Dakota State wrestling team at the Division I level translated to success at the turnstiles.

SDSU ranked 11th in home attendance during the 2017-18 season, according to figures compiled by The Open Mat and Mat Talk Online. Iowa topped the attendance figures with Iowa State and Minnesota also in the top ten.

Following is a listing of the top 15 programs for home wrestling attendance during the 2017-18 season:
