The coach who guided the University of Sioux Falls to seven straight winning football seasons is leaving town.

Jed Stugart announced that he will become the new football coach at Lindenwood University in Missouri.

Stugart most recently led the Cougars to their first NSIC conference title and second straight appearance in the NCAA D-2 playoffs.

He leaves Sioux Falls third on the all time USF career wins list and second in winning percentage. Stugart went 65-17 in his seven years at the helm.
