An International Scientific team study, published in the journal Environmental Research Letters, shows farm nitrogen pollution damage is estimated at $157 billion annually. Environmental Working Group Senior Analyst, Anne Weir says their study found that agriculture accounts for most of the pollution.

Weir says the study proves that the pollution can be traced back to farms.

She says they want to work with growers to address this problem.

Weir says EWG is concerned about the damages not only to the environment, but also to human health.
