A bill to set up the “Stronger Families Scholarship Program” was heard in front of the South Dakota Senate’s Education Committee Tuesday.

Senator Steve Kolbeck of Sioux Falls said there were too many problems with the proposal….
The vote to effectively kill the bill was four to two.
