Former University of South Dakota quarterback Chris Streveler made his pro debut Thursday and started for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in what turned out to be the second longest game in Canadian Football League history.
There were two weather delays totaling nearly three hours before the Edmonton Eskimos defeated Streveler’s Blue Bombers 33-30. Total time for the game was five hours and 42 minutes.
Streveler completed 15 of 28 passes for 178 yards with three touchdown passes and two interceptions. He also ran for 30 yards.
