Tuesday, South Dakota Dairy Producers Association President Marv Post testified against Senate Bill 131, the stray voltage measure. The proposed legislation passed out of the Senate Ag and Natural Resources Committee and is now headed to the floor. Post says there are concerns with the effect of stray voltage on dairy cows.

Post says a full volt is now allowed and his group wants it less than point five.

Post says his group is working with some members of the Ag and Natural Resources Committee for an amendment they intend to bring to the full Senate when they debate Senate Bill 131.
