Stockgrowers Concerned About Perpetual Easements

He says perpetual conservation easements creates problems for ranchers by hurting the value of their land and impacting their ability to get loans for their operations.

 

Kluck says it’s not the intention of pro conservation groups to harm landowners but perpetual easements bring unintended consequences for livestock producers.

 

Kluck says his group is commending South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds for his recent comments that talks about perpetual easements infringing on private property rights of landowners.
