South Dakota State Auditor Steve Barnett says he is planning to run for Secretary of State next year. Barnett was first elected as Auditor in 2010, and re-elected in 2014.
He says the Secretary of State’s office is a busy place…..

Barnett says current Secretary of State Shantel Krebs has done a good job in cleaning up the functions of the office….

Barnett says he has a lot of experience in being a public watchdog…..

Krebs has already announced her run for the republican nomination for the US House next year.
