A judge in Stearns County Minnesota has blocked the planned public release of thousands of pages of documents from the investigation into the 1989 kidnapping and murder of Jacob Wetterling. His parents, Patty and Jerry Wetterling, are asking the court to block out some documents to protect the privacy of certain people mentioned in the file. Stearns County Attorney Janelle Kendall says hundreds of sex assault victims are identified in the Wetterling case file

Stearns County Sheriff Don Gudmundson (GOOD-mun-son) says there’s no animosity between the Wetterling family and his office, even with a lawsuit filed.
