State Senators return to Lincoln on Wednesday for the start of the 2021 Unicameral.

Last years session stopped in March due to the pandemic and finished up in July.

District 40 Senator Tim Gragert of Creighton says he thinks they can meet safely…

Public attendance was limited, and plexiglass barriers were put up between Senators desks on the legislative floor.
Gragert says those limits and more will continue…

Gragert says the restrictions made it difficult to connect with his constituents…

Senators will have to reorganize and elect new leaders as they start the ninety-day session.
