State Officials Concerned About Surge in Highway Traffic Fatalities

South Dakota highway fatalities last year were thirty eight percent higher than 2019. One hundred forty one people died in one hundred thirty two crashes last year. The 2019 total of one hundred two fatalities was the lowest number since records started in 1947.
