State Land Sale Could Lead to Yankton Sports Complex

The State of South Dakota sold about forty acres of land just west of the Human Services Center in Yankton at a public auction yesterday Wednesday to a local foundation.
The “4030 Foundation” paid just over five hundred seventy seven thousand dollars for the land.
Foundation partner Luke Serck (serk) of Yankton says they are planning on a sports complex……

Serck says they want to start development next spring…..

Serck says they will also take possession of an old dairy barn on the land….

Serck is partnering in the project with Ryan Garry and Jesse Kampshoff, both also of Yankton.
