Participants in the Wheat Quality Council’s spring wheat tour in North Dakota headed out in eight different routes on the second days of their tour Wednesday. Council Executive Director Dave Green says the crop isn’t looking too bad although it wasn’t what many had projected when they thought there might be a bumper crop.
He says his route went through mid central North Dakota and the bushels per acre estimate varies greatly.
Green says there’s been relatively little or no insect or disease pressure seen so far.
The tour wraps up today.
