While Highway 46 from Irene to Highway 81 will be closed for major construction this spring and summer, it’s not the only highway project in the region.
Area Department of Transportation Engineer Greg Rothschadl says there are other projects soon to start….

Rothschadl says there will be work around Lewis & Clark Lake west of Yankton…..

Rothschadl says there will also be work on Interstate 29….

All of the projects have started or will in the next few days.
