Spoiler Continues GPAC Run

The semifinal round of the 2019 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Volleyball Tournament played on Wednesday is complete with the Flames of the College of Saint Mary continuing to play spoiler as they moved on with a sweep over Midland.

Second seed and 8th-ranked Jamestown had their hands full with three seed and 15th-ranked Concordia, getting a 3-2 win, including a tightly contested fifth set. The Jimmies will now host the GPAC Championship match on Saturday at 7 pm.

Eight seed College of Saint Mary picked up right where they left off after the opening round upset of top seed Northwestern with a sweep of the fourth seed Midland.

Northwestern will receive the GPAC regular season automatic berth to the 2019 NAIA National Volleyball Championship. The GPAC Volleyball Tournament winner also receives an automatic berth to the NAIA National Volleyball Championship.
