Specifics Still Needed for Special Session on Health Insurance

Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton and lawmakers still need to work out specifics of a possible special session after the election, but they do agree something must be done to address big health insurance premium hikes in Minnesota.

 

House Speaker Kurt Daudt says lawmakers “have no choice but to help Minnesotans and provide relief”…

It remains to be seen whether Republicans will support the governor’s proposal to offer rebates to qualified Minnesotans in an effort to keep premium increases down.
