South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem had a conference call with legislative leaders this week to talk about the federal funds the state has received and the possibility of a special session.
House Majority Leader Lee Qualm of Platte says they are waiting on more information from Congress….

The state got over one billion dollars from the federal government. Qualm says legislators should be able to help decide where that money goes….

Qualm says there are some areas of the state’s economy that need help..

Qualm says any special session could last from three to seven days.
