The South Dakota Soybean Research and Promotion Council is hosting a See for Yourself mission January 26-29. The program allows farmers to experience the export process firsthand and see how their checkoff dollars is used in market development. Council member Bob Metz says this year’s trip includes a tour of a CHS grain facility and the Port of New Orleans.

Metz says since poultry is the number one consumer of U.S. soybeans, participants will also attend the International Poultry Exposition in Atlanta.

Fifteen South Dakota soybean farmers will be selected to participate in the program. The signup deadline is December 8. You can get more information on the South Dakota soybean website.
