Iowa State University Extension and Outreach has a summer in person field day set for June 23 at their research farm near Kanawha. ISU Extension Field Agronomist Paul Kassel says most of their focus at the field day will be on soybean management.
He says one of the tougher problems for growers can be soybean cyst nematode and they’ll have several suggestions for producers as how to deal with that.
Kassel says they’ll also kick off a fundraising campaign to build a new facility at the research farm that will include meeting rooms, offices and machine storage.
The field day starts at 8:45 with registration and the program at 9 am on June 23 at the Kanawha research farm.
