International grain customers attending the Global Grain Exchange in Omaha this week are having an opportunity today to tour several Nebraska farms and look at the soybean crop. U.S. Soybean Export Council Chairman Jim Miller says it gives them a chance to learn more how soybeans are grown in the U.S. and to also see how ag research is being conducted at UNL.

He says Soybean Export Council members were able to foster relationships with the international customers as well as show them a high quality soybean product that differs greatly from that grown in South America.

Miller says attendees at the Grain Exchange were able to learn more about grain inspections and how commodities are shipped.

250 grain buyers from 58 countries were represented at the Global Grain Exchange.
