SDHSAA Assistant Executive Director, Jo Auch, has been selected to serve on the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Volleyball Rules Committee beginning in the 2016-17 school year.

She will serve a four year term on this committee.

The Volleyball Rules Committee consists of eleven members: a chair, and one member from each of the eight NFHS sections, as well as a representative from the NFHS Coaches Association and one from the NFHS Officials Association.  Jo will be the Section 5 representative on this committee.

The NFHS Volleyball Rules Committee meets annually to discuss and propose playing rules for high school volleyball competition throughout the United States.

Jo Auch has been with the South Dakota High School Activities Association since 2008. Prior to that, she taught K-8 Physical Education, Middle School Social Studies, and served as the Athletic Director with Menno Schools.
