South Dakota voters will get a unique opportunity in the June primary to vote on a constitutional amendment.
It would make a major revision to Marsys Law, which was added to the constitution in the 2016 election. It has caused problems for local governments in dealing with criminal and accident information.

While the primary is normally for partisan races, there will be a special ballot available to all voters containing only the constitutional amendment.
