Utilities in South Dakota are starting to report the benefits they are seeing from the federal tax cut that was passed late last year.
Public Utilities Commission Chair Kristie Fiegen says they got the first reports this week……

The investor owned utilities in the state all got significant tax breaks under the legislation.
Fiegen says they expect to see more financial information soon….

Fiegen says each company will have a plan in how to return the bonus to their customers……

Fiegen says the tax breaks could have an impact on future rate cases too.
