South Dakota Universities Prepare to Reopen & Get Ready for Fall Classes

South Dakota universities are working on plans to reopen their campuses and bring students back for fall classes.

SDSU President Barry Dunn, representing the council of presidents, updated the Board of Regents during their meeting this week..

Dunn says there will be an outreach to students during the summer..

Dunn says there will be adjustments as they get close to the start of classes in late August..

Dunn says there is discussion of compressing the class schedule, wrapping up at Thanksgiving instead of ending in early December. Dunn also says they are planning on fall and winter sports, but the final decision will be made by the NCAA.
