South Dakota State University President Dr. Barry Dunn has been chosen to serve on a new Environmental Protection Agency committee. Dunn will serve a two year term on the Agricultural Science Committee. He’s looking forward to be able to represent agriculture interests on the panel.
He’s hoping to be able to influence EPA regulatory policy with a science based approach.
Dunn says he wants to represent the interests of South Dakota’s farmers and ranchers as well as all its citizens with his work on the EPA committee.
The EPA considered 88 candidates in their selection process for the committee. That process began in 2015.
