South Dakota State University’s College of Agriculture has two new minors and an addition from another department. SDSU Dean of Agriculture Dr. Barry Dunn says they now have a minor program for meat sciences.
Dunn says SDSU is the only land grant University to have a Precision Ag Minor.
He says they’ve also moved food science from another department into the College of Agriculture.
Dunn says having food science as part of the College of Agriculture will help tie agriculture closer to consumers and will also help with recruiting of students.
