The 134th annual South Dakota State Fair in Huron continues its focus on agriculture and youth. Assistant Manager Candi Briley says they’re proud to be one of the most agricultural fairs in the country.

She says they are using the fair to talk to consumers about the importance of agriculture. They can see modern farming practices on display at the FFA Ag Adventure Center which has expanded this year into another building with new exhibits.

And the fair also showcases the state’s youth involved in the 4-H program and Briley says numbers are strong in all 4-H areas again this year.

The fair wraps up on Labor Day.
