South Dakota state employees are facing another year of no raises, and may see their health care costs increase again.
Governor Dennis Daugaard proposed a pay freeze in his budget, due to lower than expected sales tax revenues.
Eric Ollila, Executive Director of the South Dakota State Employees Organization, says some state workers went backwards last year….

Ollila says the Bureau of Human Resources has proposed another increase in some of the health plans……

He says there would also be an increase in the plan deductibles.
Ollila says the Appropriations Committee sent the proposal back for more information…..

Ollila says some legislators asked for state costs of picking up the entire health insurance increase.
