South Dakota Senator Says Producers Concerned About Length Of The Trade War

President Trump should have negotiated trade deals before doing battle with China and getting into a full fledged trade war. That’s according to South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds who appeared on Drive Time on WNAX this week with Von and Fred.

He says the U.S. trade policy should be to get successful deals in place while working with our allies before embarking on any trade disputes.

Rounds says while most farmers and ranchers support President Trump they are concerned that the longer the tariff battle goes on the harder it will be on them and their bottom line.

Rounds met recently with a Chinese ambassador and is hoping that the U.S. and China will be able to resolve their differences.
