Republicans in the South Dakota Senate made some changes to their leadership as they organize for the 2019 session.
Senator Kris Langer of Dell Rapids was elected Majority Leader.
Senator Jim Bolin of Canton was elected Assistant Majority Leader, and says they don’t expect major changes…
Bolin says he has some election law changes in mind….
Bolin says candidates should get one shot at the legislature in each two year term….
Bolin was one of the sponsors of the unsuccessful Constitutional Amendment that would have increased the approval margin to fifty five percent.
