South Dakota Schools to See State Aid Freeze

The budget for next year proposed by South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard would freeze state aid to schools at this year’s levels. The Governor said ongoing tax revenues would not support even an inflationary increase.

Legislators will put together the final budget by the end of the session next March.
