South Dakota Republican Congressional Candidate Shantel Krebs; Farm Bill Needs Reform

South Dakota Secretary of State Shantel Krebs says the Farm Bill is ripe for reform. She is running for the republican nomination for the US House.

Krebs wants changes in the food assistance portion of the farm bill……

Republicans and democrats are at odds over adding work requirements for those that receive SNAP, or food benefits. Krebs says those who are getting welfare and can work…. should……

Krebs says there can be a variety of ways those receiving benefits can at least get job training…..

Krebs will face Dusty Johnson and Neal Tapio in the June fifth primary. Tim Bjorkman (b-york-man) is running un opposed on the democratic ticket.

Krebs was on Drivetime with Von & Fred on 570 WNAX.
